ON JAI-ALAI

WIN-PLACE-SHOW ON ALL GAMES

WIN -- The number you select must come in first; PLACE -- The number you select must come in first or second; SHOW -- The number you select must come in first, second or third.

QUINIELA ON ALL GAMES

You must select the first and second finisher in any order. Tickets are $2, and boxing is a popular method of wagering. Select three teams for a $6 box, four teams for a $12 box or 5 teams for a $20 box. Another option is wheeling, where for $14 you can tie any one number to finish first or second with all others.

PERFECTA ON ALL GAMES

You must select the first and second finisher in exact order. Tickets are $3 and the payoff is usually greater than the quiniela. Select three teams for an $18 box, four for $36 or five for $60. A perfecta wheel costs $21; $1 wheel is $7; 3-team box for $1 costs $6.

TRIFECTA ON ALL GAMES (except 8th)

You must select the first, second and third finishers. The $2 straight ticket must be in exact order. Or you may play in $1 increments (and collect one-half of the $2 payoff) by boxing , wheeling and partial wheeling. Select a three-team box for $6, a four-team box for $24, a five-team box $60 or a six-team box for $120. When you box, you win with three numbers in any order. But in a wheel, the number you select must finish where you play him. A wheel of one number to win and all others for  second and third costs $24. One number to win with one number to place with all others to show costs $6. One number to win with two numbers to place with three numbers to show also costs $6. The trifecta payoff is usually greater than the perfecta.

DAILY DOUBLE ON GAMES 1 & 2, 13 & 14

Select the winner of two consecutive games. Daily Double tickets are $3. To key one number in first half with three numbers in second half is $9. Or a wheel of one number in first half with all numbers in second half is $24. (You can also play for $1 with $6 minimum.

TWIN TRIFECTA ON GAMES 8 & 9

Select first, second and third finishers in consecutive games. Carryover jackpot to be given away every Sunday, a consolation payoff if no outright winner. (First half winners split pool.)

QUINIELA DOUBLE ON GAMES 11 & 12

Select the winning quiniela in the 11th and 12th games.

TRI-SUPER ON GAMES 12 & 14

Select a trifecta in the 12th game; exchange for a Superfecta in the 14th. Carryover jackpot to be given away on designated Thursday Nights.

SUPERFECTA ON GAME 14

Select the first four finishers in exact order for $2. Or, in the $1 increment (playing for half of the $2 payoff) box four numbers for $24 or five numbers for $120.
